We Will Learn by Doing

•••• We will cast the I Ching in each class

•••• first using coins and, in the later sessions, yarrow stalks.

We will discuss divination with the I Ching as an extension

of what we already do every day — subconsciously without

appealing to magic or metaphysics.

We will discuss the meanings of key words and phrases.

We will examine Chinese philosophies with an emphasis

on the original Daoist and Confucian texts.

We will introduce advanced concepts for interpreting

I Ching casts.

We will complete the course by talking about how the

I Ching relates to religious and mystical experiences.
